Spatial Canine Epidemic in New York City

In this project, I used Python to create an epidemic among dogs in New York City. The disease spreads between dogs on their generated random walks from their homes throughout the city. A quarantine intervention can be turned on and off when the number of dogs with detectable disease surpasses the user set threshold. Finally, all of the results can be exported to visually pleasing animated maps. (Unfortunately this website does not support animations, find the code on Github to make them for yourself!)
